“We have calculated the FPL bills for the last 6 months and find that the EPA’s estimate of savings of 30% is pretty close. Using the kWh’s used we saved 25% for this period. I did not bother to use the average temperature, however I know it was warmer in October and November this year than it was last year. We now set the thermostat at 76 degrees rather than 78. I know it will improve when the hot tub is on geo-thermal and we are thinking of having the attic sprayed with InsulStar Plus insulation. This will most likely get us to the 30% savings. Peg and I can tell the difference in the cooling and the hot water.
We also are trying to get our home to qualify as a “Green Home” in Sarasota County, we have had several conversations and are waiting for them to inspect our home, this should happen before the end of the year. We will see. We thought you might be interested in knowing of our plans and the results after 6 months of geo-thermal.”

“I am so pleased with the installation of my new a/c. As you know, over the last 2 or 3 years I have had many companies in my home for renovations. I have had carpenters, plumbers, cabinet people, electricians and more. Your installers were at my home on Thursday and on Friday. When I got home on Thursday, beside the house being really hot, there was not a clue that your men were there. When I got home on Friday, I walked around the house and the property to find that it was in excellent condition..
On the outside, they had to remove a couple of small trees. They discarded them and there was no signs the trees were ever there. The quality of the workmanship on the outside of my home is wonderful. Everything is neat. On the inside, they had to take apart my closet. There were clothes and all kinds of things in that closet. It was returned to better than what they found. The whole house looked wonderful and of course, the house was on it’s way to being cool.
I am very impressed with the workmanship and the care that these men took with my house. I have light colored carpet and there was not a mark anywhere. I believe in praising good work and I hope you will convey my apreciation to each and every one of them that worked on my home.”

Both my 82-year-old parents are now retired, living off of their retirement and Social Security income. Their home, which was built during the early 1960s, is that of the typical Florida-style construction. Concrete block, low, flat roof with no central heating or cooling system.
After years of inefficient window air conditioning and a burn your face, freeze your backside fireplace, I discovered Symbiont Service Corp. I explained my situation to the service manager, Michael King, who informed me he was confident that he could solve my special installation problems. He provided my parents a written job cost and an installation date with FPL and tax rebate to complete.
The work was preformed flawlessly in seven work days by three excellent service techs that paid attention to cleanliness and respect for my parents and their home. Being a lifetime resident of Charlotte County it makes me proud to know that we have such a reputable company who employs such knowledgeable professionals in our area.
