A Generator That Will Keep You Covered During Hurricane Season

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, Service & Maintenance, Swimming Pools

To keep your home running during a hurricane power outage,
you should consider installing a backup generator, and we have just the model for you.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

We’re getting close to hurricane season here in Southwest Florida, which means it’s time to start thinking about how you can protect your loved ones and keep your home safe and secure in the event of a power outage.

With that in mind, we want to talk to you today about Honeywell backup generators.

Everybody knows the Honeywell name, and many of us have Honeywell products already in our homes. The great thing about Honeywell generators is that they’re backed by a five-year parts and labor warranty if they’re installed by an authorized dealer, which we are.

If you’re interested in installing a Honeywell generator for your home, contact us and we’ll conduct a survey on your property. First, though, you have to decide whether you want a whole house generator or one for select items.

When we come to your property, we’ll then decide the best place for the generator and what electrical adjustments we need to make to hook it up. To determine what size generator you need, we’ll do a load calculation. Though these generators can’t turn on everything in your house at once, they use a load shedding system to prioritize the items that are most important to you when you lose power.

The generators such as the one in the video above can run on natural gas or LP tanks. If the power does go out, there will be a slight delay before the generator energizes and transfers your home over to standby power. This delay is only five to 10 seconds, though.

If you’d like to know more about Honeywell generators, visit their website here or our generator installation page.

If you have any questions for us about this topic or you’d like to schedule an installation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’d love to help you.
