How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today
We recently installed a 20kw Honeywell generator, and today we’re continuing our look at the benefits it can bring you. If you missed our previous installments, watch part one here, and part two here! Additionally, you can refer to this online guide.
Remember: The 20kw Honeywell generator is designed to serve as a backup power source. Per Florida building codes, the generators must be anchored to the ground using cement pads to prevent storm-related damage in the event of a hurricane or other natural disaster.
On the note of proper installation, it’s also crucial that the generator’s accompanying transfer panel is located near your home’s meter socket and main power panel.
If the property the generator is installed on uses natural gas, it’s important that the unit is installed near that, as well. This will make it easier for gas and power lines to be rerouted through the generator and will also ensure that the generator functions properly. Location is critical when installing a generator.
Our team would be happy to help you determine the best location for your generator if you’ve got any questions.
