Cooling the Riverwood Pool

Dave Ballard is at the Riverwood community pool, which is in the low to mid-90s and no longer refreshing. The solution is simple because Riverwood had purchased our Geothermal heaters that can cool and heat. I am here to switch the heaters from heat mode to cool mode to lower the temperature down to 88°.
It’s a pretty simple process. We start by looking at the main unit, and only need to make the change here. These heaters have four modes: off, heat only, cool only, and auto. They’d like their pool to be around 88° F, so we’re putting these on cool only—as we recommend for the summer months. If it were in auto mode, the heavy rainstorms we get could cool it to the point where the heaters kick on. This would be a waste of energy with the amount of sun we receive.
This pool required eight heaters to heat the pool. I only have to change the main unit (unit #1). The main heater will then control the seven other heaters. So this is a quick and easy change on the main unit.
If we can help you with your pool heating or cooling needs, don’t hesitate to reach out and give us a call or send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
