Your Safety is Our Priority
How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today
As we prepared for the impact of COVID-19, or coronavirus, maintaining good health, safety, and well-being for our customers and employees is our No. 1 priority.
That’s why our technicians in the field are equipped with disinfectants, gloves, and shoe booties. Please be aware that if they enter the inside of your property, precautions will be taken, as they will use safety equipment in compliance with the CDC recommendations and best practices.
Fortunately, pool equipment is typically outdoors, so there is minimal direct contact between the customer and the service technician while servicing or installing the equipment. We will email, as well as call, our customer with an update of our findings.
According to the CDC, there is no evidence that the spread of COVID-19 can spread amongst humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation and maintenance of pools and hot tubs with chlorine and bromine should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.
“
It’s not pool water that will expose you to the virus,
but rather door handles, gates, handrails, or
other objects that people commonly touch.
”
Dr. Daniel Kuritzkes, infectious disease expert at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, said, “Ultraviolet light can be a really powerful disinfectant, and we get a lot of UVA light from the sun, meaning that direct sunlight can help rapidly diminish infectivity of viruses on surfaces.” Thankfully, we live in sunny Florida, so go out and enjoy a swim.
Just remember: It’s not pool water that will expose you to the virus, but rather door handles, gates, handrails, or other objects that people commonly touch. Please wash your hands frequently.
We’re all in this together. Practice social distancing and be safe! As always, reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
