Project: GeoThermal Pool Heating and Cooling

Exciting progress is underway at Palms at Serenoa, a 55+ community in Clermont, FL, where Symbiont Service Corp is installing a state-of-the-art GeoThermal pool heating system. Designed to serve the community’s stunning 128,527-gallon resort-style pool, the system will keep the water at a refreshing and reliable 82°F year-round.

Previously, the community relied on propane gas heaters, which were far less efficient and came with higher operating costs. By making the switch to GeoThermal, Palms at Serenoa is not only reducing its environmental footprint but also looking at projected annual savings of about $29,500 (budgeted with no heating in January and February).

The installation began in August 2025 and is progressing smoothly. Once completed, residents can look forward to enjoying perfectly heated (or cooled!) water with family and friends. Our GeoThermal technology is engineered for sustainable performance that will serve the community for years to come.

We’re proud to partner with Palms at Serenoa on this exciting project and can’t wait to share the finished results. Stay tuned for updates as the installation continues, and in the meantime, enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the project with these “in progress” photos!
