By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog

We all took some time to share what we’re thankful for this year!

It’s December, and 2021 is drawing to a close. We wanted to take some time to share what we’re all thankful for this year. Everybody in our office got in front of the camera to talk about what they appreciated in their life. To hear from all the amazing members of Symbiont, watch the video above.

As Sandy King, our president, puts it: We’re so grateful for all of our customers and amazing Symbiont work family. Where would we be without all of our customers and everyone on our team?

It’s been a challenging but great year, so thank you so much for being a trusted customer. As always, feel free to call if you have any questions. We look forward to serving you in 2022!

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

Dave Ballard is at the Riverwood community pool, which is in the low to mid-90s and no longer refreshing. The solution is simple because Riverwood had purchased our Geothermal heaters that can cool and heat. I am here to switch the heaters from heat mode to cool mode to lower the temperature down to 88°.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

We recently installed a 20kw Honeywell generator, and today we’re continuing our look at the benefits it can bring you. If you missed our previous installments, watch part one here, and part two here! Additionally, you can refer to this online guide.

Remember: The 20kw Honeywell generator is designed to serve as a backup power source. Per Florida building codes, the generators must be anchored to the ground using cement pads to prevent storm-related damage in the event of a hurricane or other natural disaster.

How Does the 20kw Honeywell Generator Work?

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, Service & Maintenance, Swimming Pools

Today we’re giving you a closer look at the 20kw Honeywell generator.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

Our team recently installed a 20kw Honeywell generator, and today we’d like to shed some light on how this equipment works. You can follow along in the video above for a more detailed look at this generator and its various parts. Additionally, you can refer to this online guide.

The 20kw Honeywell generator is designed to serve as a backup power source. The generator kicks on when the unit senses a lack of utility voltage, at which point the engine will start. After a few seconds, the generator will then begin to supply power in place of the main source.

A Generator That Will Keep You Covered During Hurricane Season

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, Service & Maintenance, Swimming Pools

To keep your home running during a hurricane power outage,
you should consider installing a backup generator, and we have just the model for you.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

We’re getting close to hurricane season here in Southwest Florida, which means it’s time to start thinking about how you can protect your loved ones and keep your home safe and secure in the event of a power outage.

With that in mind, we want to talk to you today about Honeywell backup generators.

Everybody knows the Honeywell name, and many of us have Honeywell products already in our homes. The great thing about Honeywell generators is that they’re backed by a five-year parts and labor warranty if they’re installed by an authorized dealer, which we are.

If you’re interested in installing a Honeywell generator for your home, contact us and we’ll conduct a survey on your property. First, though, you have to decide whether you want a whole house generator or one for select items.

The Finished Product for Our Jupiter Home Pool and Lazy River

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, GeoThermal Energy, Heat Pumps, Heating and Cooling, Service & Maintenance, Swimming Pools

We’re back to show you the finished product of our recent pool heater
source pump control upgrade in Jupiter. Here’s what the finished product looks like.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

We’re back for part two of our Jupiter pool heater source pump control upgrade. We’ve finally installed the variable frequency drives and wanted to show you the new system that’s up and running today. If you missed part one of this message, you can view it here.

When the pumps come on, they come on in succession until they reach the desired pressure. This way, the units don’t exceed manufacturer specifications for pressure.

The beauty of installing the VFDs include the soft-starting capability I mentioned before, as well as the ability to set the pump by pressure. Also, if you run a pump at 80% speed, you’ll save 50% on your electrical consumption. Not only will the drive protect the unit it saves on energy consumption and extends the life of the pump.

Part 1 of Our Pool/Lazy River Upgrade

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, GeoThermal Energy, Heat Pumps, Heating and Cooling, Service & Maintenance, Swimming Pools

We recently started an upgrade on a client’s resort-style pool and lazy river. Here’s part one of the process.

Jim Howarth, Director of Field Operations, recently helped a customer of ours upgrade their resort-style pool and lazy river with 10 model 215 pool heaters. Five of them are on their main pool and five are on the lazy river. The five main pool units are on three 5hp submersible pumps. The formal pool holds 175,000 gallons and the lazy river holds 187,000 gallons.

We’re getting ready to install three Yaskawa p1000IQ Variable Frequency Drives that are going to allow us to control the pump flow by pressure. This will ensure that we don’t exceed the manufacturer’s specifications on the pressure going into the coils.

“

The VFDs will allow the pump to get rid
of any pipe hammers or knocks.

One of our incredible team members, Terry Cicchella, recently recorded an on-location message at Riverwood Activity Center as a continuation of our recent discussion on the geothermal heating system we installed there. If you missed part one of this message, you can view that installment here.

The Riverwood Community Center recently demolished its undersized pool and rebuilt a pool that is twice the size of the old one. Bringing Symbiont Service Corp in at the beginning of the project helped the Riverwood Activity Center save thousands of dollars in heating the new pool.

Our Geothermal Heating System Saved This Community Thousands of Dollars

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, GeoThermal Energy, Heat Pumps

The Riverwood Activity center in Port Charlotte recently built a new swimming pool.
Today, let’s take a look at their geothermal heating system for it and discuss
how our system helped save Riverwood thousands of dollars.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

The Riverwood Activity Center recently demolished its undersized pool and rebuilt a pool that is twice the size of the old pool. Today I’ll explain why bringing in Symbiont Service Corp at the beginning of the project helped them save thousands of dollars heating the new one.

The original pool had four PH-090 geothermal pool heaters that still ran well and had quite a bit of life left in them. The new pool required twice as many heaters. We were able to leave the existing four heaters and, by increasing the pool piping (which sends the pool water to the heaters), we were able to add an additional four heaters to the pool filtration system.

The Header System: What Is It & How Does It Work?

By: Vyral Marketing | Category: Blog, GeoThermal Energy, Heat Pumps, Swimming Pools

For today’s topic, we’ll unpack all that goes into the basic header system:
how it works and its purpose in the larger process.

How Can We Help You? Contact Us Today

Today we’ll dive into the particulars of the header system and how it all works.

The header system in front of us today is a fairly large system. We plumb what is known as a “reverse return header system.” The purpose of such a system is to create an equal flow in every area by equalizing pressure throughout the whole unit.
